A locally owned Chevrolet dealership in the DMV for over 68 years seeks a dedicated Sales Consultant to help grow our dealership and provide exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate about succeeding in a fast-paced and professional workplace.

If you have retail/sales experience assisting customers in selecting and purchasing merchandise, you have already performed the primary function of a Sales Consultant. Your skills are transferable, and you can excel in this role!
Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Applicant must pass pre-employment screening
- Prior automotive sales experience is a plus but not required
- Being bilingual is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot
- Help customers purchase a vehicle
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective buyers
- Respond promptly to sales leads and inquiries
- Engage with prospective buyers to understand their needs and preferences
- Follow the sales process and deliver vehicles while ensuring customers understand the vehicle's operating features and warranty
- Utilize CRM and other computer tools effectively
- Be the vehicle expert
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards
- Ensure every customer has a premium buying experience
- Manage a book of business and drive referral-based business
