We’re looking for an experienced and driven Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned department. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with a proven track record in used car operations — including appraisals, inventory management, buying, selling and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the used car inventory, including appraising, acquiring, and pricing vehicles.

• Oversee reconditioning, merchandising, and presentation to ensure top retail readiness.

• Develop strategies to maximize gross profit while maintaining inventory turn and market competitiveness.

• Work closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure smooth deal flow and customer satisfaction.

• Source vehicles through trade-ins, auctions, and direct purchases.

• Train, motivate, and manage the used car sales team to achieve performance goals.

• Analyze market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.

• Ensure compliance with all dealership and manufacturer processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of automotive dealership management experience required (Used Car or Pre-Owned Manager experience preferred).

• Proven success in inventory acquisition and pricing strategies.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Excellent negotiation and appraisal abilities.

• Experience with vAuto, CDK, or similar inventory management systems preferred.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
