**Essential Responsibilities:**

- Receive repair orders from advisors and communicate clearly.

- Perform repairs efficiently and competently according to dealership and factory standards.

- Diagnose malfunctions and execute necessary repairs.

- Coordinate with the parts department to acquire needed parts.

- Save and tag parts for warranty or customer requests.

- Assess vehicles for additional safety or service needs.

- Notify service advisors promptly if additional work isn't necessary or can't be completed within promised timeframes.

- Document work performed accurately.

- Conduct road tests when necessary or as directed by the shop foreman.

- Attend factory-sponsored training sessions and stay updated on technical bulletins.

- Ensure customers' cars are returned in clean condition.

- Maintain a clean and organized shop area, being accountable for all dealership-owned tools.

- Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to hazardous waste disposal and vehicle inspection.

- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and report any accidents promptly.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:**

- Certification and Pennsylvania state inspection credentials are advantageous.

- Clean criminal background required.

- Valid driver's license and good driving record.

- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

- Comfortable with long periods of sitting, standing, or walking.

- Professional demeanor and appearance.
