Automotive Collections Associate CNAC

Job Summary:

The Automotive Collections Associate for CNAC at Kocourek Byrider is responsible for managing and collecting outstanding payments from customers who have purchased vehicles through our CNAC financing program. This is a Full Time, hourly administrative role within the Auto industry, located in Wausau, Wisconsin. As an individual contributor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success and stability of the company by helping to maintain timely and accurate payments from our customers.

Responsibilities:

- Contact customers with delinquent accounts to arrange for payment of outstanding balances
- Review customer accounts and reconcile payment discrepancies
- Prepare and send out collection letters and notices
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment arrangements
- Work with customers to identify and resolve any billing or payment issues
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries and concerns
- Follow up with customers to ensure timely and consistent payment
- Keep management informed of any potential issues or concerns related to collections
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a collections or customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with collections software
- Basic understanding of financing and lending practices
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed
