Multi-State Human Resource Manager (Senior Living)

Wage: $85,000-95,000/year

The Human Resources Manager leads and supports all human capital functions for Jaybird Senior Living, including payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations. This role partners with the Executive Team, Operations, and Community Directors to drive HR strategy, ensure compliance, and foster a positive workplace culture.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage payroll and HRIS processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and compliance documentation.
  • Advise leaders on employee relations, performance, and policy matters.
  • Investigate and resolve employee concerns while ensuring legal compliance.
  • Deliver trainings and keep handbooks, policies, and job descriptions up to date.
  • Partner with leadership on recruiting, onboarding, and terminations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR vendors and represent the company in hearings as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience; healthcare or senior living experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • High emotional intelligence, organizational skills, and ability to build trust across all levels.
