Regional Director of Clinical Operations

Wage: $90,000-110,000/year

The Regional Director of Clinical Operations serves as a clinical leader and partner to community nursing staff, responsible for planning, implementing, and directing high-quality, person-centered care programs across assigned communities. This role ensures operations and resident care programs adhere to the highest standards, company values, and all state/federal regulations. The position requires extensive experience, autonomy, and the ability to lead and direct the work of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Program Leadership: Develop, organize, and direct people-centered care programs focusing on residents' physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs.

  • Compliance & Audit: Implement and monitor healthcare policies to ensure adherence to corporate and external regulatory guidelines. Schedule site visits, conduct compliance audits, and manage corrective action plans following state/federal surveys.

  • Training & Development: Plan, organize, and lead extensive training for community nursing management and staff (including dementia care, medication management, EHR, and IPOST). Assist Executive Directors with the recruitment and performance of Healthcare Coordinators and Nurses.

  • Oversight & Administration: Identify and resolve clinical issues, review potential resident move-ins/move-outs, investigate resident complaints, and handle critical administrative duties. Utilize management systems to ensure the highest level of resident care outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Current State Registered Nurse (RN) License is required.

  • Experience in healthcare management, especially in retirement communities.

  • Must be able to travel periodically overnight.
