Front Office Desk Receptionist for a South County Doctor's Office

(This is a temporary position during 7/15/26-9/15/26)

 

We are hiring a friendly, organized Front Office Receptionist to join our medical practice. No medical experience required (preferred but not necessary). If you’re professional, customer-service oriented, and comfortable multitasking, we want to hear from you.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and manage front-desk operations
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and confirm visits
  • Check patients in/out and collect basic information
  • Handle patient inquiries and direct calls to appropriate staff
  • Maintain patient records confidentiality and perform light clerical tasks (filing, faxing, data entry)

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Comfortable using computers and office software
  • Professional, punctual, and well-organized
  • Prior medical office experience or familiarity with EMR systems is a plus
