As a Home Health PTA, Your Role Includes:

  • Delivering in-home physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT

  • Supporting patients with mobility, strength, and functional challenges due to injury or illness

  • Carrying out treatment plans as directed by the PT, including exercises and hands-on techniques

  • Monitoring and documenting patient progress and responses to therapy

  • Collaborating with RNs, LPNs, HHAs, OTs, SLPs, and other team members

  • Educating patients and their families on therapy goals, exercises, and safe home practices


Qualifications – What You Need:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program

  • Active Florida PTA license

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in home health

  • CPR certification and AHCA Level 2 Background Clearance

  • Knowledge of home health care standards and federal/state regulations

  • Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patients
