We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore physical function. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises and treatments as directed
- Observe, record, and report patient responses and progress
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination
- Educate patients and families on exercise programs and safety techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with therapists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff
Qualifications
- Current Certified Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in good standing in Kansas
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation journey
- Knowledge of therapy equipment, treatment procedures, and documentation standards
- Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred
