The Healthcare Business Development Representative and Recruiter will enable Interim Healthcare of Birmingham to grow its Home Health and staffing market. This individual will be responsible for generating profitable growth by delivering staffing solutions to targeted healthcare facilities and also bring our Home care PCSS to the top. Bringing the BEST quality care to family individuals who need assistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Planning -
  • Create a sales, profitability and growth plan for the assigned geography that identifies how to drive profitable growth with existing and potential healthcare facilities. Plan inputs should include opportunity list (war board), clear understanding of Interim Healthcare offering, target account list (play card), plan programs, pricing and potential solutions that can be used to drive territory growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Grow and Maintain Existing Business *-adding new business to our PCSS area.
  • Collaborate with current Staffing Contract customers and distribution to profitably deliver value and new solutions, to measure and communicate results of solutions, and to ensure a high level of satisfaction, growth and customer retention; engage customer in communication to ensure that all new needs are understood and that the customer is aware of the value delivered. Demonstrate expertise in all areas *-
  • Generates new clients from local referral sources (hospitals/home health/hospice/group homes/assisted livings/physician offices) in order to meet our company's growth and revenue goals
  • Expected to spend much time in the field: scheduling and conducting face-to-face visits/re-visits and appointments in order to identify, develop and foster relationships with referral sources (skilled nursing facilities, social service organizations, physician's groups, hospitals, home health, hospice, etc.)
  • Expected to spend 25%+ of their time in office with employee recruitment and interviewing potential candidates for needed positions.
  • Demonstrate and apply skills that enable the effective demonstration of Interims products, programs, and solutions. Understand and be able to clearly articulate the value of products, programs, and solutions to perspective clients and facilities. Administrative Duties *-
  • Complete key administrative tasks such as pricing, management of marketing funds, customer relationship and activity reporting.

Competitive Salary with commission, PTO accruement per PTP policy and can be taken after 90 days. 

Required Qualifications:

* The “ideal” candidate has at least 3-5 years of healthcare, home health, staffing sales/marketing/liaison experience

* Established community relationships, connections or referrals

* Strong critical thinking and sales skills

* Excellent people, communication and interpersonal skills (Verbal and written)

* Enthusiastic self-starter with a highly motivated personality, Goal Oriented.

* Effective, results-oriented communicator

* Strong business development skills.

* Must have dependable transportation

* Must take call on a Rotation basis.

* Must be versed in all aspects of the office, to work as A TEAM PLAYER!

* Must keep up with a CRM system, updating frequently any information regarding contacts and contact information, projected game plan and report weekly to the office General Manager with all the details and with a plan of action for the weeks coming. 

 

Working Conditions & Physical Effort: 

  • Ability to work flexible schedule and/or evening hours as needed.
  • Able to engage in local and occasional out-of- town travel.
  • Physical activity is light requiring occasional lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs. or pushing/pulling small objects.  Frequently walking or standing or sitting most of the time.
