This position plays an important role in ensuring our Personal Care clients receive consistent, reliable care by coordinating caregiver schedules, filling open shifts, and communicating effectively with clients and caregivers.

This Personal Scheduler position comes with excellent benefits:
- Competitive compensation of $34,320 annually plus paid participation in a rotating on-call schedule and eligibility for quarterly incentive opportunities based on team and individual goals.
- Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM Office position

As a Personal Care Scheduler, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Coordinate and maintain daily and weekly schedules for Personal Care clients and caregivers.
- Match qualified caregivers with client needs, preferences, availability, and service requirements.
- Fill open shifts and find appropriate coverage when caregivers call off or schedules change.
- Communicate schedule changes promptly with clients, caregivers, and the office team.
- Monitor upcoming schedules to identify potential coverage issues before they occur.
- Maintain accurate scheduling information in our scheduling system.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with the Personal Care team, with additional on-call compensation paid on top of the regular hourly rate.
- Respond professionally and promptly to calls, texts, and other communications from caregivers and clients.
- Assist with new client starts by coordinating initial caregiver assignments and schedules.
- Work closely with the Personal Care team to ensure client needs and authorized hours are being met.
- Track caregiver availability and help maintain an accurate pool of available staff.
- Address scheduling conflicts and last-minute changes while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Document scheduling changes, call-offs, missed shifts, and other relevant information appropriately.
- Help ensure continuity of care by maintaining consistent caregiver assignments whenever possible.
- Support the Personal Care office team with additional administrative duties as needed.
A few must-haves & preferred qualifications:
- Kansas Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous scheduling, staffing, administrative, or healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience in home care, personal care, home health, hospice, or another healthcare setting is a plus.
- Previous experience coordinating employees or field staff is helpful.
