After Hours Registered Nurse (RN)

Title:  After Hours (On Call Triage Visit) Registered Nurse (RN)   |  We are looking for someone to be available to be On Call outside of normal business hours to take calls and triage patients, but also be available to make a visit when needed in their home setting. 

Hours:   Full-time |  On Call  |  Work on call outside of normal business hours (5:00pm - 8:00am during the week and 8:00am - 8:00am on the weekends).  There will be a block schedule of working 7 days on, and 7 days off.

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensed to practice as a RN in the state of MN.  License is active and in good standing.
• Minimum of twelve (12) months of accumulated experience as a registered nurse within the last five (5) years or, if no experience within the last five (5) years, evidence of current (within the last 12 months) clinical knowledge as deemed appropriate.  
• Able to travel within geographic area serviced by the office. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• CPR Certification 

Some functions of what you would do

• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with nursing standards of practice.
• Facilitates the consideration of another level of care (i.e. inpatient, respite, continuous care) when indicated by the patient’s/family’s status/needs.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation of patient/family services provided.
• Provides telephone triage and makes patient visits, as appropriate.
