Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Newcastle, Blanchard and the I-44 corridor are growing fast, and so is the need for home health nursing there. Interim HealthCare of Oklahoma City is hiring a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to help care for patients in this part of the metro. Nurses from anywhere in the OKC area are welcome, and we work to schedule visits near wherever you live.

As a Home Health RN with us, you get time to actually know your patients, freedom to plan your day, and a team behind you on every case. Experienced home health nurses and RNs coming from hospital, clinic or LTC settings are both welcome.

What You’ll Earn

• Full-time: $40 per visit | Part-time: $35 per visit
• Start of Care (SOC): $100 | Resumption of Care (ROC): $75 | Recertification: $60
• Per-visit or salaried, your choice
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.64/mile, or a company car for full-time
• Paid weekly every Friday

Schedule

• Full-time: weekdays plus two weekends a month, with a weekday off after each weekend worked
• Part-time: flexible weekday visits plus one weekend a month
• Daytime visits only, no 12-hour shifts

Your Day as a Home Health RN

• See patients at home for skilled nursing, including wound care, medication management and disease management
• Complete admissions and OASIS and contribute to each plan of care
• Partner with LPNs, aides and therapists who share the workload
• Help patients and families understand their care and stay independent at home
• Communicate with physicians and document in our EMR

What We’re Looking For

• Active Oklahoma or multistate RN license
• Home health background preferred; solid clinical RNs from other settings welcome
• OASIS experience helpful
• CPR, valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance
• Confident working on your own, with support a phone call away

We care for patients across the Oklahoma City metro, with growing demand in Newcastle, Blanchard, Tuttle and Moore. Wherever you live in the metro, we work to keep your visits close to home, though staffing and patient needs can sometimes require visits in other areas.
