Interim HealthCare of Oklahoma City is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper to support our mission of delivering exceptional home health services. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our financial processes are accurate, timely, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain cash flow sheets to track daily and monthly financial movements
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and internal records
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and categorized
  • Process accounts payable (A/P) transactions using Sage, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments
  • Assist with payroll processing, including entering employee hours and verifying deductions
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Generate financial reports as needed
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
  • Assist with payroll as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Sage or other accounting software
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in bank reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and accounts payable processing
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude
  • Prior experience in healthcare accounting is a plus, but not required

  • $45,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
