Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)

School-Based Position – Enfield, NH

Interim HealthCare is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide one-on-one support to a special needs student at an elementary school in Enfield, NH.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an LNA who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful difference in a student's school day. The LNA will work closely with the student, providing individualized support and assistance while also helping other students and school staff as needed.

The initial assignment is expected to run from late January through April, with the opportunity to continue working with the school as an ongoing fill-in LNA after the initial coverage period.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• School-day hours

• Initial assignment: Late January through April

• Ongoing fill-in opportunities available following the initial assignment

Job Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to a special needs student throughout the school day

• Assist the student with activities of daily living and other needs as appropriate

• Provide support with mobility, positioning, and safety as needed

• Monitor the student's well-being and report concerns to the appropriate school staff

• Follow the student's individualized care plan and school protocols

• Assist with student care and support for other students as needed

• Work collaboratively with teachers, school nurses, therapists, and other school personnel

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive environment

• Provide compassionate and respectful care while promoting the student's independence

• Assist with additional LNA duties within the school setting as directed

Job Requirements

• Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license in the State of New Hampshire

• Pediatric, school-based, or special needs experience preferred

• Experience working with children preferred

• Current CPR Certification Required

• Must be dependable and able to work Monday–Friday

• Must have reliable transportation

• Ability to safely assist with the physical demands of the position
