Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide after-school nursing care for a young 5-year-old boy in his home in Rindge, NH. This is a wonderful opportunity for a caring nurse who enjoys working with pediatric clients and is passionate about helping children feel safe, supported, and comfortable in their home environment.

Our client is a young boy with developmental delays who has an NG tube and requires assistance with feeding and evening care. The ideal candidate will be patient, dependable, and comfortable providing one-on-one pediatric care while working closely with the child's family and healthcare team.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• 3:30 PM–8:30 PM

• 25 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate one-on-one nursing care in the client's home

• Provide care and monitoring related to the client's NG tube

• Assist with feeding and follow the prescribed feeding plan

• Assist with evening activities and age-appropriate routines

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed

• Monitor the child's condition and report changes appropriately

• Follow the individualized plan of care and physician-directed orders

• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment

• Communicate effectively with the child's family and healthcare team

• Provide encouragement and support to promote the child's comfort, development, and quality of life

Job Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of New Hampshire

• Pediatric nursing experience preferred

• Experience with NG tube care and feeding preferred

• Experience caring for children with developmental delays or complex medical needs preferred

• Current CPR certification required
  (Interim HealthCare offers monthly CPR renewal classes at no cost to employees.)

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to safely assist with the physical demands of the position
