Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for an 11-year-old boy in Rindge, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring nurse who enjoys working with pediatric clients and is passionate about helping children live safe, comfortable, and fulfilling lives at home.

Our client is a non-verbal, wheelchair-dependent child who requires assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ongoing nursing support. He has a G-tube and requires attentive, compassionate care throughout his after-school routine.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, patient, and comfortable providing one-on-one care in a home setting while supporting the child's comfort, safety, independence, and overall quality of life.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• 3:30 PM–9:30 PM

• 30 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate one-on-one nursing care in the client's home

• Provide care and monitoring related to the client's G-tube

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Provide wheelchair-related care and assistance with mobility and positioning

• Monitor the client's condition and report changes appropriately

• Follow the individualized plan of care and physician-directed orders

• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment

• Communicate effectively with the family and healthcare team

• Encourage participation in age-appropriate activities and support the client's overall quality of life

Job Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of New Hampshire

• Pediatric nursing experience preferred

• Experience with G-tube care preferred

• Experience caring for children with complex medical or physical needs preferred

• Current CPR certification required
  (Interim HealthCare offers monthly CPR renewal classes at no cost to employees.)

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to safely assist with the physical demands of the position
