As a Clinical Administrative Coordinator/Licensed Practical Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

             Clinical Duties (Back Office) 

  1. Take patient vitals, medical histories, and assist with exams
  2. Administer minor injections and educate patients on how to use (as certified or licensed
  3. Perform selected in-office and online patient tests, cognitive, Eye Sync, etc.
  4. Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and track medical inventory.

           Administrative Duties (Front Office)

  1. Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
  2. Schedule appointments, manage phone calls, and confirm documentations
  3. Process referrals, prior authorizations, and maintain accurate EHR entries
  4. Handle billing coordination and assist with front-desk workflow

           Practice Coordination

  1. Liaison between clinical and administrative teams
  2. Ensure smooth daily operations and patient flow
  3. Help train and mentor new staff or medical assistants as needed

A few must-haves for Licensed Practical Nurses:

  1. Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in GA or a compact state.
  2. Minimum of 3 years experience as an LPN in a busy private practice or specialty clinic. 
  3. Strong skills in both patient care and administrative tasks
  4. Comfortable using EHR systems (NextGen preferred)
  5. Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
  6. CPR certification and First Aid certification
  7. Current TB 
  8. Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude
