Your Role

As an In-Home Caregiver, you’ll help clients stay active, comfortable, and independent while providing the compassionate support they need. Your day may include:

• Providing personal care and assistance with everyday needs
• Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, transportation, and other daily activities
• Assisting clients with walking, transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion activities
• Providing medication reminders and reporting important observations or concerns to your supervisor
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
• Providing companionship through conversation, games, reading, puzzles, hobbies, and other activities
• Encouraging clients to remain socially engaged and involved in the activities they enjoy
• Treating every client with patience, dignity, kindness, and respect

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one month of healthcare experience preferred
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• A caring, dependable attitude with strong communication skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
