What You’ll Do

As an In-Home Caregiver, you’ll play an important role in helping seniors maintain their independence and enjoy a higher quality of life. Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing compassionate personal care and support so clients can safely remain at home
• Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, transportation, and companionship
• Supporting clients with mobility, including walking, transfers, and range-of-motion activities
• Providing medication reminders and communicating important observations or concerns to your supervisor
• Helping create a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming home environment
• Encouraging social engagement through conversation, games, reading, puzzles, hobbies, and other activities clients enjoy
• Building trusting relationships with clients while treating each person with dignity, patience, and respect

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one month of healthcare experience preferred
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• A caring, dependable attitude with strong communication skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
