As a School Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse Lpn You Will:

• Provide Direct Care to Students for Acute Illnesses, Injuries, and Chronic Health Conditions
• Administer Medications and Treatments per Physician Orders and School Policies
• Monitor and Manage Student Health Records to Ensure Compliance with State Regulations
• Develop and Implement Care Plans for Students with Medical Needs
• Educate Students, Staff, and Parents on Health-related Topics, Including Disease Prevention, Hygiene, and Wellness
• Respond to Medical Emergencies and Coordinate with Emergency Services When Necessary
• Collaborate with School Staff and Community Health Resources to Support Students' Well-being

A Few Must-haves for the School Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse Lpn:

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program with an Active Lpn License in the State of Pa
• Minimum of 1 Year of Experience in Pediatric, School Health, or Community Health Nursing
• Current Cpr Certification
• Strong Assessment Skills, Critical Thinking, and Ability to Work Independently
• Compassionate Communicator Who Values Collaboration with Students, Staff, and Families
