On-Site Community Leader

The Opportunity:

Are you a natural relationship-builder who thrives at the intersection of team leadership and exceptional client care? As an On-Site Community Leader with Interim HealthCare of Ann Arbor, you will step into a dynamic, dual-focused role. You will be the primary on-site face of our organization, balancing the supervision of a dedicated care team with strategic community networking to drive client growth and satisfaction.

 A Day in the Life:

Your responsibilities bridge the gap between business development and operational care management.

  • Growing the Community: You will actively mingle with residents and families, pursue fresh leads, attend monthly "New Resident" events, and partner with our Client Services Representative to secure new referrals.

  • Strengthening Partnerships: You will attend daily and weekly meetings with the facility’s Resident Care Directors to manage move-ins/outs, and collaborate with the Wellness/Activity Director to plan engaging monthly resident events.

  • Leading Your Team: You will supervise, schedule, and mentor on-site care aides delivering Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care, ensuring everyone is properly trained and professionally uniformed.

  • Mastering the Details: You will audit daily caregiver documentation, maintain precise master charting sheets, manage schedules for independent living (IL) services, and ensure seamless, HIPAA-compliant communication with the main office.

What You Bring to the Table:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Experience: At least six (6) months of experience in personal care, a similar caregiving role, or equivalent life experience

  • Communication: Fluent in reading and writing English with top-tier interpersonal skills to collaborate with both clinical and non-clinical staff

  • Tech Literacy: Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and computers to manage daily logs, audit caregiver documentation, and maintain accurate digital records.

  • Required: Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role for at least 1 year.

Physical Demands & Environment:

To thrive in this active community environment, you must be able to:

  • Stand, walk, bend, and navigate stairs continuously throughout an 8 to 10-hour shift.

  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

  • Travel reliably to and from job sites, the main office, or local shopping centers/pharmacies.

  • Work comfortably in environments with animals and assist with basic pet care when needed.
