Part-Time Supervising Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated part-time Supervising Nurse to join our pediatric home healthcare team. The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse with strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills who is comfortable conducting home visits and ensuring high-quality client care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee client service plans in coordination with care staff.

  • Conduct initial in-home assessments and ongoing evaluations of client needs.

  • Communicate regularly with clients, families, physicians, and staff regarding progress and concerns.

  • Perform evaluations of LPNs, PCAs, and CNAs through direct observation.

  • Complete supervisory visits in response to service-related concerns.

  • Review and approve treatment plans for accuracy and compliance.

  • Maintain compliance by supervising staff certifications/licenses, sending PPOTs to physicians, and ensuring timely submissions for client renewals and initial applications.

 

Compensation

  • Per-Visit Rate: You will be compensated $100 per Nursing Assessment
  • Per-Visit Rate: You will be compensated $70 per bi-weekly Supervisor Visit (mandatory in-person house visits every other month per family)
  • Administrative Fee: $500 per month (paid $125 weekly) after 45 days for compliance oversight and administrative duties.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.

  • Current Georgia RN license in good standing.

  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience (2+ years preferred).

  • Home healthcare and pediatric experience.

  • Knowledge of GAPP policies and procedures.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

 

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong clinical assessment and observation skills.

  • Proficient with EMR software.

  • Excellent communication across clinical and non-clinical teams.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.

  • Meets health requirements for client care.

 

Working Conditions

  • Primarily home-based visits within the community.

  • Frequent local travel.

  • Ability to lift, reposition, and transfer clients as needed.

  • Flexibility to work evenings if required.
