Automotive Service Dispatcher

Description of the role

The Automotive Service Dispatcher at Independence Mazda in Charlotte, NC will be responsible for managing the flow of work in the service department, ensuring that vehicles are serviced efficiently and customers are informed about the status of their vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle service appointments
• Assign work orders to service technicians
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle status and service recommendations
• Maintain accurate records of work orders and service history
• Monitor service department workflow to ensure efficiency

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of automotive systems and terminology
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
• Valid DL Required
