Position Overview
As a Commercial Truck Sales Manager, you’ll be the face of our thriving commercial vehicle division, focusing on Ram trucks and vans that dominate the jobsite. You’ll leverage your expertise to connect businesses with the perfect vehicles, from the versatile Ram 1500 to heavy-duty Ram 3500 and ProMaster vans, while tapping into our robust inventory and exclusive incentives like On The Job Allowances (up to $1,000 for upfits). With Ram’s high demand and our dealership’s reputation, you’ll have the tools to succeed in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with commercial clients, understanding their unique business needs to recommend the right Ram trucks or vans (e.g., Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, ProMaster).
- Utilize your fleet management experience to advise clients on buying and selling new and used commercial vehicles, ensuring optimal solutions for their operations.
- Showcase our extensive inventory of new and used Ram commercial vehicles, highlighting features, customization options, and competitive pricing.
- Guide clients through commercial financing options, tax savings, and Ram-specific programs like BusinessLink and Ram Telematics to maximize value.
- Collaborate with clients to customize vehicles with upfits (e.g., company logos, equipment additions) using our On The Job Allowances program.
- Stay informed on Ram’s cutting-edge technology, durability, and industry trends to position Ilderton as the go-to dealership for commercial solutions.
- Represent Ilderton’s family values in the High Point community, fostering trust and long-term client partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of dealership experience, with a proven track record in automotive sales. At least 2 years in the Ram commercial field, demonstrating expertise in commercial trucks and vans.
- Fleet management experience in buying and selling new and used commercial equipment, with a focus on trucks.
- Strong salesmanship, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle financing, upfits, and fleet solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high-demand products.
- Familiarity with Ram’s commercial lineup (e.g., Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, ProMaster) and their applications.
- Outgoing, team-oriented, and committed to Ilderton’s mission of “Trust in the Drive.”
- Valid driver’s license, ability to work Saturdays, and proficiency with dealership CRM tools.
