Parts Counterperson

HW Kia of West County is seeking a Parts Counterperson to join their team in Ballwin, MO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the required parts, responding to inquiries via email and phone, billing internal requests correctly, and ensuring service estimates are accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Respond promptly to emails and phone calls
• Ensure accurate billing on service repair orders
• Review service estimates for correctness and stock availability
• Notify customers and advisors of special-order parts
• Track and issue shop tools to technicians
• Replenish inventory daily
• Maintain orderly records of repair orders and invoices
• Keep counter areas clean and organized

Requirements:

• Understanding of automotive technology and terminology
• Experience with CDK is preferred
• Knowledge of Kia automotive brand is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Adaptability to industry changes
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• The capability to lift to 50 pounds
