What we are looking for:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the productivity and development of the sales team. They’ll be accountable for the quality and effectiveness of the sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience growing market share and profits.

The ideal candidate will have 2 or more successful years in automotive sales. F&I experience is preferred. Leadership and organization skills are essential for success in the position. This is an active customer touch position.

Job Summary

As a pre-owned sales manager, you will actively manage a sales team, as well as pre-owned inventory to Hubler Standards. This position is performance geared, and the pay is determined by both volume and profit! The hours are long and the days are hard, but anyone familiar with the car business would recognize this as an amazing opportunity! 

 
Responsibilities
  • Manage, actively train, recruit, hire, and assist sales staff. This is listed first for a reason. 
  • Manage, Source, Recondition, and Market Pre-Owned Inventory to Hubler Standards.
  • Work directly with our customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process 
  • Build rapport with customers to establish a deeper community association
  • Utilize the access to the auto group’s 1000+ cars to help provide the correct car for the customer
  • Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects
  • Mitigate losses at auction by retailing vehicles before 90 days. 
Qualifications
  • Eagerness and ability to improve constantly
  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures
  • Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability
  • Well-versed in title laws and registration process
  • Professional personal appearance and extraordinary verbal/written communication skills
  • Expertise in negotiation and presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license
