As we invest in our employees and production systems, we expect our new Human Resource (HR) Manager to build strong, authentic relationships with our current workforce on the production floor. We are a people centric team of roughly 200 employees across three shifts - and growing. As a full time, HR Manager with us, you will:

  • Enthusiastically serve as the leader, manager, HR resource and partner for team members and management
  • Assist in fostering an ‘open door’ policy to improve employee communication and maintain a positive atmosphere in the production area
  • Work with HR team to build morale and facilitate effective work relationships, productivity and retention while living out our core values
  • Lead the development, implementation, coordination and presentation of training programs and opportunities
  • Review and audit the Workers Compensation process and documentation, maintaining accurate records in ERP systems
  • Maintain coverage and knowledge of payroll and benefits administration
  • Review and audit records for FMLA & LOA, STD and LTD programs
  • Ensure all aspects of safety are enforced and in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Ensure HR compliance with all federal, state and local government regulations
  • Create and maintain HR reports and surveys, processing and tracking documents to ensure appropriate completion and compliance
  • Serve as a point of contact for incoming HR inquiries and employee relations/engagement
  • Maintain up to date job descriptions for all positions
  • Lead talent acquisition and recruitment strategy; assisting in recruitment process as needed
  • Lead compensation analysis efforts and company 401(k) benefit
  • Monitor the performance evaluation program making recommendations to streamline process
  • Accurately navigate HRIS and Plex for recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, leave administration, training initiatives, applicant tracking with ability to navigate competing priorities, projects, and deadlines effectively
  • Creatively seek ways to improve systems, programs, and processes, making recommendations as needed

We believe a HR Manager will need the following to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication or related field – Required
  • 7+ years broad HR experience, strongly preferred in a manufacturing environment, focused on learning & development and talent attraction & retention – Required
  • Top-notch communication skills (listening, verbal and written) – Required
  • Ability to develop and support team members skills and abilities – Required
  • Skillful as a proactive solutions-oriented self-starter – Required
  • Ability to positively promote an employee-oriented, high performance culture – Required
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attentive to details and accountable – Required
  • Ability to work under pressure, navigating competing priorities and multiple tasks - Required
  • Highest level of integrity and business ethics – Required
  • A high-level commitment to stakeholder & employee engagement – Required
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of employment laws & regulations – Required
  • Knowledge of compensation, 401(k) and profit-sharing plans – Required
  • Strong technical aptitude (Microsoft Office, HRIS) – Required

Bonus points if you are a HR Manager with the any of the following:

  • Relevant leadership experience
  • PHR and/or SHRM Certification
  • Plex & Dominion experience (Payroll and HR modules)
