Hotel Weyanoke is a boutique hotel that blends historic charm with modern comfort, providing guests with an exceptional hospitality experience in the heart of Farmville. We pride ourselves on warm, personalized service that makes every stay memorable.
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Bellhop to join our team. This role is vital in creating positive first and last impressions for our guests. The Bellhop will greet guests, assist with luggage, escort them to their rooms, and provide helpful information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Greet and assist guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Load, unload, and deliver luggage to guest rooms efficiently.
- Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features and hotel services.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.
- Securely store and retrieve guest luggage in the luggage room.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the lobby and entrance areas.
- Deliver packages, mail, and assist with errands for guests or hotel staff.
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Adhere to hotel safety, security, and confidentiality procedures.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Knowledge of local attractions is an asset.
- Professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
