Service Technician

We currently have an opening for an A Level Automotive Service Technician to join the Hondru Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram team. Top pay for top technician with certifications and experience.

This full-time position is  Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

As an Automotive Service Technician, your responsibilities would include:

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and following the dealership guidelines

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if any additional service is needed.

• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

• Other duties as needed.

Your Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in automotive maintenance, repair, and diagnostics

• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, and  excellent hand-eye coordination

• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to learn new technology, repair, service procedures, and specifications

• State Inspection License and Emissions License

• Valid Driver’s License
