Honda of Frontenac is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team in St. Louis, MO. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our service department and customers, ensuring exceptional service experiences and effective communication throughout the vehicle maintenance process. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and who can effectively manage the flow of information between technicians and clients. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in helping customers understand the maintenance and repair needs of their vehicles, providing clear explanations, and guiding them through every step to ensure their satisfaction and confidence in our services.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming environment for all service visitors.
  • Listen carefully to customers’ concerns and accurately document vehicle issues to communicate effectively with technicians.
  • Explain recommended repairs, maintenance services, and associated costs in an understandable and transparent manner.
  • Manage service appointments and keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the service process.
  • Coordinate with the parts department and service technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of services.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed, customer preferences, and vehicle history.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the latest automotive technology and service procedures to provide accurate information.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within an automotive service environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and patiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple service appointments efficiently.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems and services preferred.
  • Comfortable working with computer systems for service scheduling and record-keeping.
  • A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
