Part-Time Caregiver – Blanchard, OK

Monday–Friday | 10 AM–2 PM | $14/hour | 20 Hours/Week

Home Instead of Norman is looking for one dependable, outgoing caregiver for a consistent weekday assignment with a client in Blanchard.

This is a great opportunity for someone who lives in or near Blanchard and wants a steady 20-hour-per-week schedule with the same client every day.

Who We're Looking For

Personality is especially important for this client. We need someone who genuinely enjoys talking, engaging in conversation, and building a relationship with an older adult.

At the same time, this is a hands-on caregiving position.
Responsibilities include:

• Bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting assistance
• Incontinence care
• Hands-on assistance with transfers and mobility
• Fall-prevention and safety supervision
• Medication reminders and verbal cues
• Simple meal preparation and encouraging fluids
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Plenty of conversation and companionship
•  

The client uses a walker and needs hands-on assistance with some daily activities. There are also two dogs in the home, so you must be comfortable with pets.
