Caregiver - Fennimore/Boscobel

Are you an experienced caregiver who is comfortable providing hands-on personal care and knows how important dignity, patience, and safety are when helping someone with their daily routine?

At Home Instead, we're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers with dementia experience to help older adults remain safe, independent, and engaged in the lives they love. 

Schedules 

Monday - Friday

8 am to 12 pm

6 pm to 10 pm

2 pm to 6 pm

Fill In Shifts on the Weekend 

8 am to 12 pm

6 pm to 10 pm

Pay & Benefits

• Starting wage: $16-18 per hour

What You'll Do 

• Dementia care experience 
• Calm redirection rather than arguing or repeatedly correcting
• Hands-on transfer and mobility assistance
• Staying alert to a significant fall risk
• Personal care including toileting assistance, bathing or showering, dressing and grooming
• Medication reminders as directed by the care plan
• Preserving independence while quietly maintaining safety
• Recognizing changes and communicating concerns promptly
• Transportation to appointments or errands
• Companionship and meaningful engagement

Throughout each visit, you'll help clients do as much as they safely can for themselves while stepping in confidently when support is needed.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
