Home Instead is looking for a compassionate, dependable Care Pro to support older adults in the Elizabeth, IL area. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing one-on-one care, and helping seniors maintain their independence at home.

This position is ideal for someone looking to build a consistent schedule, with opportunities to add hours by supporting additional clients in the surrounding communities as more hours become available.

Schedules

• Sunday: 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
• Monday: 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
• 7 Days a Week  -8 am - 12 pm and 6 pm to 10 pm
• Strong attendance, consistency, and communication are essential
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance required

Pay

• Competitive Pay: $16.00–$18.00/hour

What You'll Do

• Build meaningful relationships through conversation and companionship
• Prepare light meals and encourage nutrition and hydration
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed, including trips into Dubuque as needed. Mileage reimbursed to and from appointments/errands

• Support grocery shopping and other daily activities
• Provide support for client with limited eyesight
• Encourage safe mobility and help reduce fall risks
• Provide gentle reminders and structure for clients experiencing memory changes
• Complete documentation and communicate changes or concerns to the office

• Paid training at your regular wage — initial and ongoing training are paid at the Care Pro’s actual wage, not minimum wage.

• Weekend differential — $1/hour additional pay for eligible work between Friday at 10:00 PM and Sunday at 10:00 PM.
