Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP)

Job Description:

QMAP will be responsible for identifying and reporting care needs. The ideal candidate should have the ability to provide protective oversight and the ability to provide care based off the individualized care plan. Reviews medication administration records (MAR) and administers medications to the right client, right dose, right time, right medication, and right route. The ability to comply with company policies and procedures and state regulations in accordance with medication administration.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a similar field (preferred)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
• Flexibility and adaptability to work with clients in varying home environments and conditions
• Punctual, dependable, and capable of working independently
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
