We’re looking for a Retail Sales Specialist who knows how to create trust quickly, ask the right questions, guide customers toward the right products, and turn in-store traffic into revenue.

You understand that every customer interaction matters, and you take ownership of helping homeowners, contractors, designers, and builders have a great experience from the moment they walk in the door.
Home Center Outlet’s existing Sales Manager role emphasizes speed, service, accountability, revenue growth, CRM discipline, and a customer-first experience; this Retail Sales Specialist role carries that same standard at the sales-floor level.

What You’ll Own
- Engage Every Customer Professionally
Greet and engage customers quickly, professionally, and with energy. Make every customer feel seen, helped, and valued. - Conduct Discovery and Recommend Products
Ask strong questions to understand what the customer is trying to accomplish, then recommend the right products based on project needs, budget, timing, and availability. - Drive In-Store Revenue
Convert store traffic into sales by creating urgency, educating customers, overcoming objections, and helping customers make buying decisions. - Capture Customer Information in HubSpot
Accurately enter customer information, project details, product interests, and next steps into HubSpot so the sales pipeline is visible and actionable. - Create and Send Draft Orders Before the Customer Leaves
Build draft orders while the customer is still in the store whenever possible. Make the buying process easy, clear, and fast. - Execute Consistent Follow-Up
Proactively follow up with customers on quotes, draft orders, product questions, and next steps. Do not let opportunities sit idle. - Actively Manage Your Pipeline Daily
Review open opportunities, follow-up tasks, quotes, and customer communications every day. Know where every potential sale stands. - Maintain Strong Product Knowledge
Develop a strong working knowledge of Home Center Outlet’s products, inventory, promotions, and value proposition so you can confidently guide customers. - Support the Brand Experience
Represent Home Center Outlet with professionalism, urgency, and a service-first mindset on the sales floor, over the phone, and through follow-up communication.

- Average Ticket Value is strong and improving.
- Customer contact information is captured consistently.
- Draft orders are created and sent before customers leave the store.

- You are building relationships that lead to repeat business, referrals, and higher conversion.

Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of sales experience preferred.
- Retail, building materials, home improvement, flooring, cabinets, appliances, or related experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable asking questions, recommending solutions, and closing sales.
- CRM experience preferred; HubSpot experience is a plus.
- Strong follow-up, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Bilingual is a plus.
