Job Summary

The Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) is responsible for providing professional massage therapy services to clients in order to promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and support overall wellness.

The Massage Therapist will assess client needs, develop appropriate treatment approaches, and deliver high-quality therapeutic massage services while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

Qualifications

Required

• Current Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) license in the State of Connecticut
• Completion of an accredited massage therapy program
• Strong knowledge of massage techniques and body mechanics

Preferred

• Experience working in a healthcare, wellness, or clinical setting
• Experience with therapeutic or rehabilitative massage techniques
• Strong client communication and customer service skills

What You’ll Do

• Provide professional massage therapy services based on client needs and preferences
• Assess client conditions and recommend appropriate massage techniques
• Perform a variety of massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage
• Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes
• Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing treatment environment
• Communicate with clients regarding wellness goals and treatment plans
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols

Compensation

Salary: $38 -$46 per hour
