Job Summary

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Home Care Connectors. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide essential care and support to our clients in their homes, contributing significantly to their rehabilitation and overall well-being.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of patient care techniques and medical terminology.
  • Experience in geriatrics or pediatrics is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide direct patient care, including exercises and therapeutic activities.
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
  • Educate patients and their families on care plans and home exercises.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress notes.
  • Support patients in skilled nursing facilities or home health settings as required.

Compensation

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year
