On-call Hospice RN

As a new and growing hospice agency, we are seeking skilled and compassionate On-Call Hospice Nurses to join our team in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

On-Call Responsibilities:

• Be available during evenings, weekends, and holidays, responding to emergencies or urgent patient needs.
• Respond to patient and family calls to address concerns or provide comfort care.
• Make home visits necessary to provide acute care or evaluate changes in the patient’s condition.
• Monitor patients’ conditions remotely or by phone when needed, providing guidance to caregivers.(Telehealth)
• Be available Monday 5:00PM to Sunday 8:00AM
• One week on One week off

What You Need:

• Active RN license in the state of Connecticut
• Minimum 2 years of hospice experience is a MUST
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Pay: $500 per week for on-call duties
• Additional Compensation:
• $100 per Tuck-in
• $100 per Pronouncement
• $150 per Admission
• $75 per Visit
