Maintenance Technician

Join the Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area team as a Maintenance Technician where you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our Somerville, MA property. This position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of (2) years’ experience in building maintenance or engineering roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment efficiently.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
