It is with that in mind that we are looking to hire a UX Designer to join our User Experience team to help in all aspects of the design process, including user research, journey mapping, UI design, and usability testing. Because of this, you should have a broad set of design skills and be eager to learn. As part of our UX team, you would be joining a passionate, collaborative, and supportive group of individuals dedicated to improving our users’ experience. 

In addition to your application, please include a portfolio that demonstrates your design process and ability to solve complex problems.

 

As our UX Designer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Working in partnership with Product & Engineering to build usable and desirable interfaces from discovery to delivery, while considering research findings, scope limitations, and technical parameters
  • Creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and other UX deliverables – predominantly in Figma & Balsamiq – to help illustrate and test solutions
  • Contributing to and utilizing an internal design system and pattern library, and collaborating cross-functionally to get modifications and enhancements implemented 
  • Producing UI designs for detailed user flows and interactions, and collaborating with engineering to ensure accurate and efficient implementation 
  • Initiating and supporting the UX team in ongoing efforts, such as user research and interviews, usability testing, results summaries, and more

Okay, we’ve laid out what the job is - now are you qualified? Below are the minimum qualifications we’re looking for in a UX Designer candidate. 

  • Knowledge of user experience design, information architecture, interaction design, and agile development methodologies
  • Experience running user research and usability tests with customers and translating findings into tangible actions
  • Fluency in best practices for responsive web and native mobile app design, as well as a strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
  • Proficiency in Figma, and/or other design and prototyping tools
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and remotely

Compensation:

  • Based on experience: $100,000-$110,000 plus bonus potential
