This role is the entry point for all new Sales Professionals at Hinderer Motor Company. Every new hire begins in a Sales Delivery Coordinator role for approximately 90 days, completing a structured, hands-on training program that builds deep product knowledge, customer confidence, and process discipline. After successfully completing the training period, associates transition into a full Sales Professional role with uncapped commission and unlimited time off.

Role Overview

As a Sales Delivery Coordinator, you will serve as a Honda product expert and customer experience specialist. You’ll guide customers through vehicle delivery, technology education, and ownership orientation while learning the fundamentals of the sales process in a low-pressure environment.

This role is intentionally designed to prepare you for long-term success as a Sales Professional by building confidence, credibility, and product mastery before moving into a commission-based sales role.


What You’ll Do

  • Deliver vehicles to customers and create a confident, informative delivery experience

  • Demonstrate Honda vehicle features, safety systems, and technology

  • Conduct service walk-throughs and introduce customers to Service Advisors

  • Schedule first service appointments and assist with app and technology setup

  • Complete all delivery documentation, including Honda CPO paperwork

  • Meet and greet clients using Hinderer Motor Company standards

  • Support Sales Consultants and Managers with vehicle preparation and test drives

  • Assist with VIP appointments and showroom readiness

  • Complete all required Honda Interactive and HMC sales training programs

  • Maintain a clean, organized showroom and vehicle display areas

  • Stay current on Honda products, features, and brand standards

  • Follow up with customers to build long-term relationships

  • Work collaboratively with sales, service, and management teams to support dealership goals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Customer service, hospitality, or retail experience preferred

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening


Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time position

  • Evenings and weekends required

  • Paid training during the 90-day Delivery Coordinator training period

  • Transition to commission-based pay with uncapped earning potential as a Sales Professional

  • Bonus and commission opportunities available
