Description
The Albany Hilton has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Line Cook. This position will be a Full-time evening position; typical hours will range from 4pm to 12:30am; reporting directly to the head Chef of the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets customer expectations.
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to prevent food-borne illnesses.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
- Monitor food inventory and communicate with management to order supplies.
- Adapt to changing menus, food requests, and special dietary needs.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in cooking techniques.
