Wurzak Hotel Group is seeking a results driven Sales Manager to drive our Sales efforts at our gorgeous Hilton City Ave Philadelphia just minutes from Center City. With 35,000 square feet of recently renovated flexible meeting and banquet space and 207 renovated guest rooms, this property is tremendous opportunity for the right candidate.
As Sales Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your market segment—developing and nurturing business opportunities from initial contact to contract close. You’ll blend data-driven strategy with hospitality flair to exceed goals and enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Relationship & Brand Representation:
- Represent the hotel with professionalism and enthusiasm to prospective and current clients.
- Be a local market expert—staying informed about competitive trends, events, and high-demand periods.
- Actively promote hotel features, services, and unique advantages.

Business Development & Sales Strategy:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calls, and research.
- Use tools like STAR reports and market analysis to build compelling sales strategies.
- Target key accounts, event planners, and community influencers to drive revenue.

Tailored Proposals & Solutions:
- Conduct site visits and create custom proposals that exceed client expectations.
- Listen actively to client needs and provide creative, cost-effective solutions.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.

Negotiation & Closing:
- Confidently present, negotiate, and close deals that align with hotel goals.
- Upsell and cross-sell services to maximize profitability.
- Achieve or exceed established booking goals and revenue targets.

Account Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
- Ensure seamless event execution through clear communication and coordination.
- Follow up post-event to gather feedback and cultivate repeat business.

Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, contracts, and client interactions.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as required.
- Stay compliant with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
What We’re Looking For Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hotel sales experience with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in full-service hotels or branded environments preferred.
Skills & Attributes:
- A persuasive communicator with strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
- Passionate about hospitality, with a guest-first mindset and a team-player attitude.
- Willing and able to travel locally and occasionally overnight.
