Responsibilities
- This position has evolved into being the first person our customers see during their service visit. Customer service skills are essential. No longer just a "shuttle driver" position.
- Work closely with the Service Advisors and Service Director to make sure all vehicles are where they are supposed to be and the service drive is clear and not chaotic.
- Transport customers to and from their destination in a professional and safe manner.
- Assist passengers in and out of shuttle while keeping a timely shuttle route without delays.
- Monitor shuttle vehicle maintenance and fuel.
- Run errands for the dealership as directed.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
- Employ good judgment, safe driving skills, abide by all traffic regulations.
- Notify service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance.
- Perform light janitorial duties as well as help maintain coffee/water bar in customer waiting area.
- Help greet customers upon arrival as well as assisting them getting checked in.
- Install protective elements to customer's vehicles such as paper floor mats, plastic seat covers.
- Help organize and stage vehicles to go into service shop.
Qualifications
- Professional appearance and work ethic - must adhere to company policies on hygiene and appearance for customer facing employees.
- Excellent driving skills and clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Good interpersonal skills
- Consistent record of achieving or over-achieving goals
- Extraordinary communication skills and superior customer service skills
- Positive outlook with a high-energy personality
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
