Heritage Auto Group is currently seeking a Service Writer to join our growing team! Please note that this is an in-person position located at one of our six dealership locations in Brigham City, UT; Evanston, WY; Vernal, UT; Tremonton, UT; North Logan, UT

Description of the role

The Service Writer at Heritage Auto Group will serve as the primary point of contact for customers requiring vehicle maintenance or repair services. They will be responsible for accurately documenting customer concerns, obtaining necessary approvals, and coordinating with the service department to ensure timely completion of work orders. We are looking for Warranty clerks with Ford, CDJR, or Chevrolet backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to understand their vehicle service needs
• Document customer concerns and vehicle symptoms
• Provide accurate estimates and obtain necessary approvals
• Communicate with the service department to schedule repairs or maintenance
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair processes
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred
• Must have Ford, CDJR, or Chevrolet background
