Accounts Receivable Clerk

Henna Chevrolet is looking for an immediate hire as an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a background in Accounting and strong communication skills.   **MUST have car dealership accounting experience
 
Location:  8805 N IH 35 (between 183 and Rundberg)
Schedule:  M-F full time with daytime hours
 
Responsibilities
  • Reconciles Cashier Reports from various departments
  • Corrects, updates and processes customer statements
  • Maintains daily deposit files, bank uploads and petty cash runs
  • Post daily bank details
  • Set up charge accounts for credit and sent collection notices for past due accounts
  • Collect, receipt and post vendor and customer payments
  • Answers billing inquires and responds to invoice requests
  • Prepares month-end reconciliation processes
Qualifications
  • Experience using a dealership management system (DMS) preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn
  • Self-starter who can work both independently and with a team
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve with excellent time management skills
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • 2 years Accounting experience with a basic understanding of the principles of accounting and bookkeeping required
  • AR/AP experience in an automotive dealership preferred
