EXPERIENCED CAREGIVER | COMPETITIVE PAY

Caregiver Needed for a Wonderful 72-Year-Old Stroke Survivor in Gardnerville

We are looking for a compassionate, experienced caregiver to assist a 72 year old retired Search and Rescue professional in the comfort of his Gardnerville home. The ideal candidate will come with professional experience and training in Stroke Recovery Care as well as notable knowledge and understanding of memory care. Dependability with verifiable experience working with Stroke Recovery and Memory Care clients/patients is a must.

Job Details:

• Schedule: (This is a split schedule to accommodate a morning and evening shift, each day.)

• Monday through Thursday 7:00AM to 11:00AM & 3:00PM to 7:00PM

• Responsibilities:

  • Standby assistance with mobility

  • Assistance with bathing and personal care

  • Vision support and safety assistance

  • Provide companionship and Respite Support to his wife as needed

  • Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed

  • Transportation in caregivers vehicle as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Experienced caregivers with a compassionate and patient approach to care

• Comfort working with stroke survivors, particularly those with similar cognitive and physical challenges

• A communicative individual with strong documentation skills

Requirements: (Employment is contingent upon meeting all requirements)

• Ability to pass a state and federal background check
• Pass a TB Test & Physical
• Valid Drivers License & Auto Insurance must be in your name
• Clear DMV Driving Record
• Negative Drug Test
• Verifiable Professional & Personal References
• Complete In Office Training & Orientation
