Sales assistant

Description of the role:

The Sales Assistant at Helms Bros Mercedes-Benz will be responsible for providing support to the sales team in achieving their targets and assisting customers in their car-buying journey.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the sales team in generating leads and follow up on potential customer inquiries
• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the car-buying process
• Demonstrate product knowledge and assist customers in choosing the right vehicle
• Coordinate and schedule test drives for customers
• Assist in processing paperwork, financing, and insurance documentation
• Handle customer complaints and find appropriate resolutions
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment

Requirements:

• Prior experience in sales or customer service roles preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with automotive industry and knowledge of Mercedes-Benz vehicles is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
• Proficient in computer systems and software
