What We're Looking For:

Healey Ford Lincoln is seeking an experienced and energetic candidate to join our parts Department.   This employee's key role will be Parts Specialist.

Details About This Position:

This position is a full-time hourly position based at our Healey Ford Lincoln location in Goshen, NY.   The schedule for this position is a daytime 8-hour shift, with evenings and weekends as needed.  Base weekly salary with weekly/monthly commission

What You Will Bring to the Table:

• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
• Ability to identify the problem quickly
• Knowledge of automobiles
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• Ability to learn new technology
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills, good phone skills
• Positive, friendly attitude 
• Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance, and a strong work ethic

• Prior use of the CDK dealership software is highly preferred
• The ability to work well with the public and balance multiple customers at a time is important.

What You Will Do:

• Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for a dealership.
• Locating available parts when the dealership is out of stock.
• Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department
• Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer periodically and maintaining the necessary record-keeping.
• Referring to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify precisely the correct part(s) for the make, model, and year of vehicles being serviced.

• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
